Your company’s Healthy Working Life program owners will determine how to communicate information about this program across your company. Our vocational coaches will work with your company’s program owner to provide guidance on communication methods.

Managers and frontline supervisors are often best able to identify employees who can benefit from the program. Once you have determined that an employee is eligible—and willing—to participate in the program, the next step is to make a referral. We’ll walk you step-by-step through the process.

Once the coach has met with the employee, the coach will create a Healthy Working Life Plan, consisting of recommended interventions, for the employee. The plan will be sent to your identified contact person for discussion and approval if it impacts the workplace. If equipment is part of the recommendation by the coach, and you approve the recommendation, the equipment will be provided to the employee at no additional cost to the employee.

Once the recommendations are approved, it’s time for our coach to work with the employee to implement the recommendations. There is usually nothing more that needs to be done by the point of contact or the employee’s manager, other than providing general ongoing support.
