We are pleased to share that Kathleen Navarro is featured on the inaugural amNY Metro and PoliticsNY list of 88 Power WomenShe appears alongside other notable women from ABC News, American Express, and JPMorgan Chase, as well as select government representatives.  PoliticsNY and amNY Metro cheer these Power Women on in their efforts to improve the lives of all New Yorkers, shatter glass ceilings, and show future generations of young women just how much they are capable of.

Kathleen was selected as a Power Women for being at the forefront of enacting meaningful change through New York Life’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, a major component of progress across companies broadly. Kathleen’s work in introducing New York Life’s Coming Together series, establishing career development programs, and her tenure as Chief Diversity Officer, are all examples of what impressed the editorial team  -- and what the team believe other corporate leadership teams should replicate. Taking information from New York Life’s 2021 DE&I Report, published earlier this year, the editorial team described as “astounding” the fact that even in the summer of 2020 — a challenging time by any standard — over 80% of respondents to New York Life's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion survey praised the company for its diversity and felt comfortable and accepted at work.
