Why it matters
We’re a company powered by purpose. The Giving Campaign is one way we live our values — rallying together to support causes that matter deeply to our people and our communities.
How we did it
Employees and agents across the country brought the energy, hosting spirited fundraisers that included:
- Cutest pet photo contests
- Bake sales and carnivals
- Mario Kart competitions
- A pickleball tournament
- A CEO lip sync showdown (yes, really)
Where the impact landed
Top-supported charitable organizations included Sesame Workshop, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Scholarship America, Eluna, the California Fire Foundation and the New York Life Emergency Assistance Fund.
What our Giving Campaign Chair says:
“I am incredibly proud of the spirit and generosity demonstrated by our colleagues across New York Life,” said Alain Karaoglan, Head of the Strategic Businesses and 2025 Giving Campaign Chair. “Through our collective efforts, we achieved record-breaking employee participation and remarkable agent engagement, enabling us to make a meaningful impact for our communities, reflecting the heart and culture of our company.”
Beyond the campaign
Giving back is part of our culture year-round. In 2024, our agents and employees contributed:
- 275,000+ volunteer hours
- 3,200+ volunteer activities and Acts of Kindness
The bottom line
New York Life’s culture of service runs deep. Whether through large-scale campaigns or everyday acts of kindness, our people are committed to making a difference.
