New York Life #1 in 2021 Fortune list for Insurance: Life and Health.

In the recently released 2021 World’s Most Admired Companies ranking from Fortune, New York Life Insurance Company claimed the top position in the Insurance: Life and Health category of the annual ranking of corporate reputation.

New York Life led the eight companies who achieved the “Most Admired” distinction for the category, climbing three spots from last year’s #4 ranking.

Rankings are determined by a proprietary formula that weights nine criteria to create an overall score.

This year, New York Life held the lead or second position in seven of the nine categories including social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment value, use of corporate assets, people management, and innovation.
