Am I Still Covered Under My Deceased Spouse's Health Insurance Plan?

Thanks to the 1985 Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), you may still have coverage. If your spouse worked for a company that has a health plan covering 20 or more employees, the plan must continue to offer you and any dependents coverage for at least 18 months. Coverage can be stretched up to three years if you have dependent children.
